Objective:

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana Benefits:
Under the PM-KISAN scheme, eligible farmer families receive a financial benefit of ₹6,000 per annum per family. This amount is payable in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each, every four months. The money is directly credited to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana Eligibility:
All landholding farmers’ families with cultivable land in their names are eligible to get benefits under the scheme, irrespective of the size of their landholdings.
Exclusion Categories:
The following categories of beneficiaries of higher economic status are not eligible for benefits under this scheme:
- All Institutional Landholders.
- Farmer families where one or more of their members belong to the following categories:
- Former and present holders of constitutional posts.
- Former and present Ministers/ State Ministers and former/present Members of Lok Sabha/ Rajya Sabha/ State Legislative Assemblies/ State Legislative Councils, former and present Mayors of Municipal Corporations, and former and present Chairpersons of District Panchayats.
- All serving or retired officers and employees of Central/ State Government Ministries/Offices/Departments and their field units, Central or State Public Sector Enterprises, attached offices/autonomous institutions under the Government, as well as regular employees of the Local Bodies (excluding Multi Tasking Staff / Class IV/Group D employees).
- All superannuated/retired pensioners whose monthly pension is ₹ 10,000/- or more (excluding Multi Tasking Staff / Class IV/Group D employees) of the above category.
- All persons who paid Income Tax in the last assessment year.
- Professionals like Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, and Architects registered with professional bodies and carrying out their profession.

How to Apply PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
Eligible farmers can register themselves through the following modes:
- Visit the nearest Common Service Centres (CSCs).
- Self-registration through the Farmers Corner on the PM KISAN portal (https://pmkisan.gov.in/).
- Applying with the village Patwaris, revenue officials, or other designated officers/agencies.
Documents Required for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana Registration:
- Aadhaar Card
- Proof of citizenship
- Documents substantiating ownership of land
- Bank account details
- Mobile number
Payment Schedule:
The ₹ 6,000 annual support is provided in three installments:
- April to July: ₹ 2,000
